“The Power of His Might”
 Scripture: Ephesians 6:10

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

Devotion:
Paul wrote this message to the Ephesians to let them know that as Christians, they would not be able to live by their own strength. This is also an important message for us to apply to our lives today. With the challenges that we face, such as temptations that come to cause us to fall, discouragement, opposition, and spiritual warfare, we must face the reality that our human power alone is not great enough. That is why Paul directs us in this verse to be strong in the Lord, not in ourselves.

The strength that the Lord provides comes from relying on God’s power, trusting in His promises, and standing firm in His truth. When we depend on our own abilities, we quickly become weak and weary. But when we lean on the power of His might, we are able to stand.

This verse reminds us that God not only gives us strength but He also provides everything we need to face what lies ahead. His power enables us to resist the enemy, remain faithful, and walk in victory. Remember it is not because we are strong, but because He is.
No matter what battle you are facing today, remember this, you are never asked to fight alone. God’s strength is sufficient and available to you right now. So, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, as it is written in Ephesians 6:11.

Prayer:
Lord, we acknowledge that we need Your strength today. Help us to rely on Your power instead of our own. Give us courage, faith, and perseverance as we face every challenge. We want to trust and stand strong in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
